The Art of Personalization: Branding Your Leather Goods

Updated on Jan 12, 2026

At our studio, we believe that a logo is more than just a mark—it is a signature of quality. To help you present your brand with distinction, we offer two specialized methods for personalizing the leather surfaces of our products. Whether you are ordering full-leather accessories or combined wood-and-leather hospitality supplies, here is everything you need to know about our branding techniques.

  1. Debossing (additional + $20.00 for any items quantity in the order)
  2. Laser engraving (additional+ $1.00 for each item)

Debossing: The Timeless Impression

Debossing is the gold standard for luxury leather branding. This technique involves creating a custom, heavy-duty metal die (cliché) of your logo, which is then pressed into the leather under high pressure and heat.
The Aesthetic: It creates a sophisticated, indented 3D effect that you can feel. Unlike surface prints, debossing alters the very structure of the leather, ensuring the branding never fades or wears away.
The Options:  The logo is pressed without any color, resulting in a subtle, tone-on-tone finish that plays with light and shadow.
Foil Stamping: For a bolder look, we use metallic or colored foils to fill the impression, adding a striking contrast that aligns with your interior design palette.
Investment: Debossing requires a one-time setup fee of $21.00 to manufacture your custom metal cliche. This is a flat fee per order, making it an incredibly cost-effective solution for bulk orders, whether you are branding 10 or 100 items.

Laser Engraving: Precision in Detail

For those seeking intricate designs or high-contrast clarity, laser engraving offers a modern and versatile alternative. This method uses a high-precision beam to delicately etch the design into the top grain of the leather.

The Aesthetic: Engraving stands out for its remarkable sharpness. It is capable of capturing fine lines and complex patterns that physical stamps might struggle to replicate. On leather, the laser creates a natural dark contrast that looks organic and intentional.
The Flexibility: This method is ideal for smaller batches, personalized gifts, or test samples before committing to a large-scale order.
Pricing: We offer laser engraving at a simple rate of $1.00 per item, with no upfront setup costs or plate fees.

Choosing the Right Path for Your Brand

The choice between debossing and engraving often comes down to the "character" of your brand. Debossing is preferred by high-end restaurants and hotels for its tactile, "old-world" luxury feel and long-term durability. Laser Engraving is the go-to for modern brands that require high-definition detailing or are working with smaller, agile quantities.
Regardless of the method you choose, our production timeline remains streamlined. Because our workshop operates with dedicated stations for both techniques, choosing personalization will not cause significant delays in bringing your vision to life.
